Join our Grade 5 Math Program to score at the top of your class! We teach our students how to become independent learners and problem solvers on this level. The program builds a solid understanding of place value, fractions, and decimals. Our students experiment with mixed numbers and efficiently perform all operations with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Our instructional pattern emphasizes collaboration and explorations rather than lecturing and memorization. Our teachers use various methods to keep their classrooms interactive and maintain an active dialogue with students. Our students easily construct arguments using concrete referents, such as objects, pictures, and graphs. Smart Start USA Grade 5 program builds a solid foundation for further studies in Mathematics. We want our students to succeed on tests and become confident leaders in their Math classes.
